The Province of Zanjan is home to the Papai ski resort. Among the 30 resorts in Iran, this one is the only standard ski resort in Zanjan, spanning 80 hectares and featuring a unique 35-degree steep. This resort has space for 5,000 guests. People travel there for winter sports during the holidays, such as skiing, snowboarding, speeding, and snow-fighting. This resort has 20 coaches for a winter ski school, as well as an elevator, ski lift, snow beater car, restaurant, coffee shop, parking, and suites. This resort is situated 3 km from the county center of Ijrud and 45 km from Zanjan’s western south in a mountainous area.
